Mounting Tutorial
If the file is an ISO you'll have to follow these instructions.
If you have a BIN and CUE do the following but substitute where is says ISO for CUE.
If you have a MDF and a MDS substitute where it says ISO for the MDS file.
*Note* IF you have a MDS/MDF file you'll need to use Alchohol 120% or Daemon tools. Nero won't recognize the format unless you download a patch.
If you have a IMG and a CCD file, substitute where it says ISO for the IMG file.
*NOTE* IF you have a IMG/CCD file you'll need to use CloneCD or Daemon tools. Nero won't recognize the format unless you download a patch.
If you have a RAR extension or a R00, R01, etc. then you'll have to extract the files before you know what format they are. It it's just ONE RAR file then extract it and follow the instructions depending on the filetype.
If it's a R00 file (there will be a bunch of them) then it means it was a multi-file archive. All this means is that the file has been broken up into a bunch of smaller files. To get the files from inside, open the first file and extract everything from inside. This will put the file back together.
Files with the extension .001,etc. are also WinRAR files. To open them with WinRAR do the follwing.
Right-click on the .001 file. Select Open With.... Select Winrar. Extract the files!
*NOTE* You do not need to open any more of the files except for the first one.
Use either:
- Deamon Tools
- Alcohol 120%
(can be found on pspiso w/ cracks)
I'll explain using Daemon Tools because, again, it's easiest to use.
Open Daemon Tools.
Right click on the system tray icon and select Virtual CD/DVD ROM ---> Set number of devices.
Select 1 device.
Select Device 0 ---> Mount image.
Find your Iso file.
Select it.
It SHOULD autorun, if it doesn't then open the cd in my computer and launch the install/setup executable.
To change cd's, unmount CD 1 and mount CD 2 in it's place the same way it is outlined above from step 5 onward.
*NOTE* The image file can be larger than 700mb and still fit on a cd. The image contains extra information that is not actually burned. Don't be deceived, try it.
