Step-By-Step How to make a request

Lets start by saying that it is BEST to use the request forum instead of blurting

out requests in chat as the Mods are usually busy helping people

who are new to the site, fixing broken links, and posting more

movies for you to choose from.

There are several Mods who will check the Request forum often

on a daily basis, who may never bother to look at the chat box.

So those requests may go unanswered.

Some Mods become frustrated when they are constantly bombarded

with request after request in chat. So please take a moment - read

this tutorial – learn where to go and how to to place your request.

You will probably get answers much quicker and the Mods won’t

become so frazzled.

Where do I go to place my request?

You can go to the top of the home page shown here and

click on the purple Requests Button (shown below)

REMEMBER: click on the pis for a larger view.

OR You can click on the other purple Request Button located just

above the chat box. Shown Here:

Now scroll down just a bit, and you will see New Thread, just below

the alphabet. Click on New Thread. As seen here.

In this next Image The areas marked 1 in RED,

can be ignored. However if you wish you may enter something in

the Tags and the Description boxes, but it is not necessary.

In the box marked 2 in TURQUOISE is

where you will put in the Title of the movie you are requesting.

It would be beneficial if you would add the year as well.

For example: The Wizard of Oz (1939)

Finally in the main request box, the area marked 3 in

GREEN, is

where you could request in full your movie, music, e-book …

whatever the case maybe.

Here is an example of a typical request that be be

typed in the GREEN area.

I am searching for the movie The Wizard of Oz. Here is the IMDB link:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0032138/

This helps us make sure we are getting you the exact movie you want,

as there can be several different movies with the same name.

Okay Okay….. How do I get the IMDB link?

Simply go to www.IMDB.com At the top of the page you will

see a search box. Type the title of your film in the search box (add

the year if you know it), then click GO as shown.

I chose The Wizard of OZ for this demonstration. In this next pic, you

will see just how many movies and TV films & shows have the same

name. This is why we respectfully ask that you include the IMDB

link in your requests.

But how do I get the link? First you must figure out which one in the

list is the movie YOU want …for this tutorial we want the first one at

the top so I am going to click on that. As you can see, the address

bar holds our link. All you need to do, is copy & past this into your

request. If you cannot do that simply type in the numbers that

appear in the address bar following the 2-t’s Example: Our link is:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0032138/

The numbers after the tt (2-ts) are 0032138 All that is left for you to

do now, is scroll down, and beneath the post icons you will see 2

buttons click on the SUBMIT button and you are done.
