Jorge Arce vs Angky Angkota

The popular and exciting Jorge ‘Travieso’ Arce of Los Mochis, Mexico will rumble with Angky Angkota of Indonesia in the main event. Arce vs. Angkota will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Net (FSN) and Fox Sports en Espanol. Marotta said he and Tompkins have worked as an announce team for 11 years.
“We both love the sport and I think we have a great chemistry together,” Marotta said. “We have a good style of calling a fight, more of a conversation with each other, a give and go kind of a thing. We both a great respect for the athletes who get into the ring.”
“I’m ready, it’s now or never. I will do my talking in the ring. I will do my best because I want to leave boxing as a world champion and I’m sure that it will happen,” said Arce.
The Undercard
The card is loaded with with good fights. In the co-main event to be televised, one of Mexico’s best young featherweights will battle in the ring as Jockson Hernandez of Ensenada takes on Eduardo Escobedo of Mexico City and one of Beristain’s top boxers.
Alfonso “Finito” Lopez who is the son of the great Ricardo “Finito” Lopez will also be in action as he puts his perfect record (3-0, 2 KOs) on the line against Sergio Cruz in a four round Super Flyweight bout. Undefeated Miguel “Mikey” Garcia of Oxnard, California will take on Arturo Gomez of Mexico City in an eight round featherweight bout.
In a female world championship fight, Jackie “The Aztec Princess” Nava of Tijuana will battle Shantal Martinez of Panama for the Interim WBC super bantamweight crown. Nava has won this same title twice before.
Francisco Arce, the younger brother of Jorge Arce will also be action as will be Hanzel Martinez the brother in law of former world champion Antonio Margarito. Martinez is 5-0 with 4 KOs in his professional career, he will take on Angel Rosales in a four round super flyweight bout.
