How To Download A Movie or Video Online Free!

I have been asked this question so very many times that I decided to make a quick Tutorial on how you can download most streaming movies that are online and do it for FREE.

There are Several Reasons why you would want to download a Movie to your HardDrive / Computer instead of streaming it.
1. You can watch the movie at your Convenience.
2. You can Burn The Movie to a DVD Disc to play on your DVD Player.
3. No Pauses (For Buffering) during the Movie Playing.

First I will go Over how to do this without having to install anything then I will go through the steps of how to download Internet Download Manager (Program) and how it will help you get even more movies downloaded and even faster.

Downloading DIVX Movies

Make sure You have the Latest DIVX Web Player installed. You Can Get It Here: www.divx.com

You can download all DIVX Movies Freely using the DIVX Video Player. You will have to stay on the player page in your browser for the movie to completely download.
We will use this Movie as an Example: The Cursed 2010

Some sites will have a screen come up asking you to click a button to prove you are human or a screen that asks you to choose Free or Premium.

In This Example Click Free Stream :


Next You Will See The Player on The Screen Stating Connecting or Buffering.

Double Click in the middle of the player or on top of the word Connecting or Buffering to make the player Full Screen. Once The Player is Full screen right click inside the Player and choose the option Preferences.

Now You Will See Where you Set the Player to Download the Movies.
EX:

1. Make Sure You set The Directory where the videos or movies are saved to a directory you know where it is and how to find it.

2. Check Mark all 3 options : Auto-save all video Downloads, Create One Sub-Folder Per Web Site & Alert Me When Auto Saving Files.

Click OK when you have done these things and you are Done. Now it will auto save all DIVX movies you happen to watch or buffer 100%.


How To Download Movies and Videos Freely Using Internet Download Manager

This Is a Great!!! Program for ripping movies from online for free. It Does not work on all the Players (Some Are Protected) but it does on many of them.

Here are Some Of The Advantages of Using Internet Download Manager.
1. Downloads Movies Faster than Normally allowed.
2. You can queue movies up to download 1 at a time.
3. You can resume The Download or pause it if necessary.
4. It will allow you to resume the download if for some reason the link is broken.
5. You do Not Need to stay in a Browser or on a page for the movie to download.

Never Upgrade The Program After Installing IT

First you will need to download The Program here: Internet Download Manager or Internet Download Manager

It Is a Compressed File so you will need to have or install Winrar to Decompress the File. Winrar 32 Bit op sys or Winrar 64 bit op sys

OK After you have the program downloaded it is highly recommended you create a new folder and put the idman5.17.5.full.rar file into that folder. Providing you have already installed winrar, right click on idman5.17.5.full.rar and choose extract here.

After you extract the File you will have the following files. Not Including the rar file you downloaded.
1. idm (Registry File)
2. IDMan.exe (Program File)
3. idman517.exe (Installation File)
4. read me.txt (Direction For Installing The Program)

First Step You Want To double click on idman517.exe (File 3) and install the program.

After Installing the Program Exit The Program. Also You may see a sideways green triangle now in the bottom right of your computer by your clock, right click on it and choose exit.

Second Step is to copy IDMAN.exe (File 2) and paste it into your c:\program files\internet download manager folder or c:\program files x86\internet download manager folder. It Will ask you if you want to overwrite the existing file and you want to choose YES overwrite the existing File. If You Get an error file is in use remember by your clock to exit the program running in the background by right clicking on the sideways green triangle and choosing exit.

Third Step is to double click on the idm file (File 1) this is a registry file and you will get a pop up asking if you want to insert the values into your registry. You want to click Yes.

You Are Done Internet Download Manager is Installed and Cracked!
Never Upgrade The Program After Installing IT, a pop up will come up periodically asking if you want to upgrade. DO NOT DO IT!

Now You Will Want to Start The Program again by going to your programs and starting Internet download Manager.

Now anytime you go to download something you will a pop up box for your download which is a lot better than your browsers downloader for now you can most of the time resume broken downloads and its much faster than your downloads were.

When you go to a player for a movie or video you will see a small button that asks you if you want to "Download This Video"

All Things Downloaded are put into a sub-folder in your My Documents\ Download Folder
Documents into the Documents Folder
Executable Programs Into The Programs Folder
Archived / Compressed Files Into The Compressed Folder
Videos / Movies Into The Videos Folder
